| Prof. Liang GeSouthwest Petroleum University, ChinaGe Liang, Ph.D., is a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor, serving as Associate Dean of the Graduate School and Deputy Director of the Office for First-Class Discipline Construction. He was a Visiting Scholar at Durham University (2016–2017) supported by the China Scholarship Council. He is recognized as a Young Science and Technology Talent and an Academic and Technical Leader Reserve of Sichuan Province, and received a nomination for the Outstanding Young Science and Technology Talent Award in Mining, Petroleum, and Safety Engineering in 2023. He serves as a director of the Sichuan Youth Federation of Science and Technology, a member of the Chengdu Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese Youth Committee, and leads the Downhole Intelligent Measurement and Control Young Research Innovation Team at Southwest Petroleum University. He is also a tutor at Linxi Academy. His research focuses on intelligent measurement and control technologies in oil and gas safety, particularly downhole safety monitoring, gas safety monitoring and control, and buried pipeline detection. He has led or participated in two National Major Science and Technology Projects, two National 863 Projects, and one NSFC Young Scientists Fund project, and currently leads four national and provincial projects, including an NSFC General Program. He holds 20 authorized invention patents (first rank), contributed to one national standard, led one group standard, and authored one monograph and one textbook. He has long served as a project review expert for China, the UK, the EU, the US, Canada, Ireland, and France. He has undertaken multiple projects including UK EPSRC, EU Horizon, National Major Instrument Special Project, and International Cooperation Key Projects, with total funding exceeding 100 million RMB. He has published over 760 papers in sensors, structural health monitoring, and nondestructive testing, with over 26,000 Google Scholar citations and an H-index of 85. | Senior Engineer Yong HuPetro China Southwest Oil & Gasfield CompanyYong Hu, Ph.D., is a Professor-level Senior Engineer, a Sichuan Provincial Academic and Technical Leader, a Chengdu Industrial Professor, one of CNPC’s first batch of Senior Technical Experts, and a doctoral supervisor. He has successively served as Deputy Director of the Exploration and Development Research Institute of PetroChina Southwest Oil & Gasfield Company, Director of the Science and Technology Department, and Chief Expert in Oil and Gas Field Development. He currently serves as Deputy Director of the Oil and Gas Field Development Professional Committee of the Sichuan Petroleum Society, Executive Editor-in-Chief of Natural Gas Industry, and Deputy Director of the Editorial Board of Natural Gas Exploration and Development. He has long been engaged in oil and gas field development and informatization technology. | Prof. Pijush SamuiNIT Patna, IndiaPijush Samui is a Professor of Civil Engineering at NIT Patna, India. He earned his B.Tech. from IIEST Shibpur (2000), and M.Sc. (2004) and Ph.D. (2008) in Geotechnical Earthquake Engineering from IISc Bangalore. He held postdoctoral positions at the University of Pittsburgh and Tampere University. His research spans geotechnical engineering, earthquake engineering, reliability analysis, AI applications, disaster mitigation, and site characterization. He has secured funding from DST, BRNS, IGCAR, and industry. He has authored five major books, 225 journal papers, 14 edited books, and 34 book chapters (h-index 43, >5,600 citations). He serves as editor/editorial board member for over ten journals and is active in professional committees including IGS and ISSMGE TC on Machine Learning & Big Data. His awards include the IIT Roorkee Shamsher Prakash Research Award, IGS Sardar Resham Singh Memorial Award, and IACMAG Excellent Regional Contributions Award. He is a Fellow of ISET, Guest Professor at USTB Beijing, Docent at Tampere University, and was Adjunct Professor at Ton Duc Thang University (Vietnam, 2018–2021).
